Volunteer Opportunities:
  • Power Hour Volunteers assist Club staff in executing the Power Hour program. Power Hour enables Clubs to provide extra attention and focused assistance to at-risk members and those in need of motivation and direction. Volunteers serve as role models, providing guidance not only with homework assignments, but also with organizational and critical thinking skills. Perhaps most importantly, volunteers encourage and inspire members.
  • Programming Volunteers bring their own expertise to the Clubs to help staff enhance programming. Volunteers have the opportunity to assist staff in all areas of programming, including arts & crafts, athletics, physical education, computer/technology, photography, culinary arts, etc.
  • Administrative Support Volunteers help keep our behind-the-scenes operations running smoothly. Volunteers assist with administrative work and general facilities maintenance.
  • Special Events Volunteers assist in the execution of the organization’s fundraising/special events and/or special events at individual branches/onsite locations. This is a perfect option for volunteers who are seeking a one-time opportunity.
  • Group projects are perfect for companies, organizations, and schools that would like to participate in a special activity at one of our Clubs. Whatever your goals, our staff can help design and execute a customized project to align your company’s interests with the needs of our Clubs. Examples include Club beautification projects, Sports & Fitness Field Days, a holiday party, or leading a program in your group’s area of expertise (financial literacy, science, arts & culture, physical education, etc.). The possibilities are endless!
  • Special Classes provide the opportunity to pass on whatever special skills you might have. Let's talk about what skills you can share with these great kids.
